Terms of Service

Last updated: October 23, 2026. By using fairhvacquote.com or buying a Quote Check, you agree to these Terms. The service is operated by Waqas Jawed, an individual operating as FairHVACQuote.

1. The Quote Check service

A Quote Check is a written, informational review of a document you upload, prepared by an independent HVAC technician who holds a current US license. It is not a home inspection, engineering or design advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of any price, product or outcome. Reviewers do not see your home or system. You remain responsible for your hiring and purchase decisions.

2. Price, delivery and refunds

A Quote Check costs $39 (each additional quote in the same order $15). We aim to email your report within 24 hours of payment and a complete upload. If we do not deliver within 24 hours, you may request a full refund by email. If your file is unreadable we will ask for a new one by email; the 24-hour window restarts on receipt. Otherwise, refunds are handled under these Terms.

3. Your uploads

You confirm you have the right to share the documents you upload. You may remove contractor pricing you consider confidential. You grant us permission to use your uploads to deliver the service and, in anonymized and aggregated form, to improve our cost data.

4. Directory and cost information

Contractor listings come from public state license data and may be outdated. Listing is not an endorsement. Cost figures are published averages from third parties and may not reflect your local price. Always verify licenses with the state agency.

5. Communication

We communicate by email and written forms only. We do not provide phone support.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the work, prices or conduct of any contractor.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable US law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
